FIRST DAY FILMING
On my first day of filming we went through my scenes and looked at what they would look like. I used this time to sort out what order I was going to have my scenes in and I was able to see what I could improve on. I found that the lighting I used in my practice shots was too bright and 'fake' almost and the transition between torch light and main lights was very unsubtle. I decided that I need to use more torches and not the house lights as this would look better and give the impression that something might be watching you from in the shadows and left more up to the imagination of the audience. More dialogue needed to be added as there was no where near enough also it helped me cipher out some of the shots that were quite fake looking. I also found that some of the shots i used that were on a tripod were out of place in the sequence and that they would be better if they continued in the sequence in hand held. Finally I noticed some continuity errors such as when the group was talking George (Replaced by Matt) began to sit down and when he began talking he was stood again.
